Recruitment at Hardwick Hall Hotel

Working for Ramside Estates Limited

To be suitable for one of our positions you must be eligible to live and work in the UK. You will be required to provide proof that you can legally work for us and we require proof of ID (passport or birth certificate), proof of NI number and a recent passport sized photograph.

Note: without the above mentioned documents you cannot go onto our payroll system and therefore you cannot work for us.

Age Restrictions

Please be aware that we cannot employ young people who are still of compulsory school age. The Children and Young Persons Act 1933 and Durham County Council's Byelaw on the Employment of Children 1998 permit only specified child employment under licence and the roles that we have do not match the criteria because of hours of work.

Note: the above regulations apply until the last Friday in June of the academic year in which the young person turns 16.

SENIOR HOTEL RECEPTIONIST & HOTEL RECEPTIONIST

Receptionist - full time.    WorkING 5 days out of 7. Typical shifts 7.00 - 3.00 / 3.00 - 11.00.
We require an experienced receptionist, well presented, with excellent telephone manner and social skills. Must have own transport.

Senior Receptionist - full time.

As above and must have strong hotel reception experience and preferably experience of supervising staff.
