The Rib Room Steakhouse & Grill is a distinctive bistro style steak restaurant and grill within easy access of Durham, Darlington or Sedgefield.
Open every night for dinner 6.00 pm - 10.00 pm, the Rib Room offers a comprehensive menu of excellent classic food with a contemporary edge. Succulent Steaks are prepared and cooked from Durham raised Hereford Beef. All the local meat, matured for 28 - 32 days can be viewed in the Rib Room Meat Locker.The menu changes seasonally, our Chefs use the finest and freshest local produce, cooked simply, priced sensibly.
Our extensive wine list is a key feature of the hotel, over 150 + wines to complement our award winning cuisine.

LUNCH IN THE HARDWICK BAR
Excellent bar food is available in the Hardwick Bar at lunch time. Enjoy a light snack with a cold beer or glass of wine in the delightful atmosphere of the Hardwick Bar. Polished wood floors, rich rugs, leather armchairs, potted palms make this a snug relaxing haven to have lunch with friends or meet with business colleagues.
The bar is open thoughout the day and evening and offers a fine selection of whiskies, brandies, wines and beers.
We now serve a selection of hot and cold sandwiches, lite bites, main courses and desserts throughout the day. Available Monday to Saturday 12.00 noon until 10.00 pm.
SUNDAY LUNCH - is now served in the Boyne Suite from 12.00 noon until 3.00 pm.
LOUNGE MENU ~ AFTERNOON TEAS
Enjoyed a lovely walk in the fresh air of the Hardwick Country Park, hungry? Come in and enjoy a traditional afternoon tea in the Hardwick Bar. Choose from a selection of filled sandwiches on mixed breads, hot buttery tea cakes, scones filled with strawberry jam and double cream and a nice cup of Yorkshire Gold Tea.

Sunday 3.00 pm until 5.00 pm
PRIVATE DINING
Whatever the occasion, a family celebration or a corporate event, private dining is available within our function suites which can accommodate between 2 - 350 guests. During the summer months we also offer the Paddock Marquee, with its own private garden and lovely views it is a special venue for up to 150 seated guests. Larger Marquees are available throughout selected months of the year which can seat up to 1500 guests. Please ask!
24 HOUR ROOM SERVICE
Best Western Hardwick Hall Hotel offers residents a comprehensive 24 hour room service menu. Choose from a selection of sandwiches, filled jacket potatoes or a hot meal of Thai Chicken Curry to name a few of the items available. The room service menu is complemented with an excellent choice of wines and to celebrate - Champagne!
BREAKFAST
To "set you up for the day" Breakfast is served in the Boyne Suite 7.00 am until 10.00 am. We serve the full English breakfast menu with local bacon and sausages, free range eggs as well as the usual cold meat, fruits and buffet selection.
